How essential is humor ?

The world is no more at war! Countries resolve their differences by diplomatic meetings , not by bombing each other. The world is changing and everyone is looking for progress! So does a common man. People no more fight over small arguments . Their tolerance level is increasing and here humor plays a vital role.
Being a humorous person, one can achieve two different objectives at a time. First , you shine as a person because you are making others laugh and none questions you for being a douchebag. Other, you clearly make your point making the person opposite to you in a defensive mode.Other guy would have no other option but to listen and answer keeping the audience in mind.
Humor is important because of audience. And in today's world audience rule the kingdoms.
Its people who judge you as a person and humor is important to rule over them.
All of you must have seen the heated arguments between people , people fighting over small issues, even killing each other . They are bust stupid. None loves them for being such. And everyone keeps a distance from such fuckers! One needs to be more tolerable and smart. Smart use of words called humor can save your ass anytime. But Humor isnt like a moustache that can be grown over a week . It takes time. And It takes involvement in society .
I live in a sharing room and believe me people here are so intolerable. They fight over stupid things. No compromises , direct use of muscles. But Humor can be even better weapon. It can make you win fights without being arrested!
